If you don't have permission to create a new site from BrandIn, and you don't have an existing SharePoint site you could use, you might still be able to manually create a new site outside of BrandIn, and link to it.
Create a site in SharePoint
You might be able to create a new site directly in SharePoint, then link to it in BrandIn.
- Open SharePoint.
- Go to the SharePoint start page (home button).
- At the top of the page, select +Create site and choose Team site or Communication site.ℹ️If you don’t see the Create site button, site creation may be disabled in SharePoint. Try creating a site with a group instead.
- Choose any template.
- Name your site and add an optional description.
- If offered, set the site as Public or Private.ℹ️
Public sites can be accessed by anyone in your organization. You don’t need to grant permission.
Private sites can only be accessed by added members. You’ll need to approve access.
- Select Create site.
- You can add members now or later.
- Select and copy the site’s link from the address bar.
- Link your site in BrandIn.

Either option will include a new SharePoint site, which you can link to in BrandIn. Choose whichever application your organization uses, or the one you prefer.
⚠️If your organization doesn’t use Teams or Outlook, contact IT (Microsoft 365 Global Administrator).
