This article explains how to update BrandIn's manifest in the Microsoft 365 admin center. You will need to be an M365 Global Administrator to be able to do this.
BrandIn is mostly kept automatically up to date. If you've received a new manifest from BrightCarbon, follow the instructions below to update it.
How to update the manifest in the Microsoft 365 admin center
ℹ️Before you get started, please ensure that you have received the application manifest from BrightCarbon.
To update BrandIn, follow these steps:
- Log into the M365 admin center.
- Select Settings from the menu on the left. If you can't see Settings, select Show all at the bottom of the menu first.
- Select Integrated apps.
- Once on the Integrated apps page, select BrandIn from the list of deployed apps.
- In the BrandIn side panel, select Update add-in.
- Provide and validate the manifest file in one of the two options.
- If you received the manifest file from BrightCarbon, select Upload manifest file from device followed by selecting Choose file.
- If you received a URL to the manifest file, select Provide link to manifest file and paste the URL followed by selecting Validate.
- Select Next to finish adding the manifest file.
- On the Updates page, select Accept and update.ℹ️BrandIn requires permissions to connect to your M365 tenant. BrightCarbon never sees or collects any digital assets. For more information on data collection, please refer to the privacy policy.
- Wait for the update to complete then select Done to finish.
